Inspired by true events, SOVEREIGN follows a struggling father (Nick Offerman) who indoctrinates his young son (Jacob Tremblay) into the radical sovereign citizen movement, where laws are mere illusion. As their beliefs spiral into extremism, they clash with an unyielding police chief (Dennis Quaid) in a confrontation that leads toward a deadly standoff.
